My son is 30 now and he was that child you know the one that had problems. I went for all kinds of help - I had one doctor tell me he was retarded I immediately found a new doctor. I had doctors refuse to help me cause I didn't want my son on ritilan after a bad reaction. My son was kicked out of a school for children with special needs at the age of 5. But you know my son was a lovely child even though he was difficult. and now he is a wonderful adult. I am very proud of him because he succeeded against difficult odds. you have given me an important reminder about those days when it would be so difficult to take him into a store and how other people looked shocked at me because they didn't understand. it can be pretty lonely at times. wow, reading your post really took me back.
